I have a real problem with procrastination that I need to overcome if I want to get back in the programming/consulting market. Not sure how this problem came about, but it has to end. I'm really good at solving problems and creating cool workflows, especially with Python, but I have been struggling with getting started in the mornings. Every day, I seem to find ways to stop myself from what I should be doing.

I have used
BBEdit ever since it was released in 1992. I've tried Sublime Text as well as VS Code, but I always seem to gravitate back to BBEdit. However, this afternoon I started taking a look at
Zed, which has gained a lot of traction recently. It's got a lot of nice extensions and even connects to my local Ollama server for LLM integration. Old habits are hard to break, though.

Took a look at my Groq spell check code in Electric Drummer this afternoon and discovered that the model I was using had been deprecated by Groq, so I had to update my code to a current one. Love easy fixes.

Working on a new local LLM RAG workflow using Ollama this morning and then having lunch with some old friends! 😊
