I've been thinking about
River5 because I have been self-hosting
an instance of it on a virtual machine in Google Cloud. Now that I am no longer working out of the office my remote access needs have decreased so I could life with an instance running on my home server that I access via my LAN. (Although I have CloudFlare tunnels working for Internet access to some apps when I need it.) My home server mostly runs Docker containers, so I intend to Dockerize
River5 like I did with River4 a few years ago. Back then I used River4 as a test app to learn how to make my own containers.

I am watching what Dave is doing with
feeder app. So far it looks like a way to render individual RSS feeds, feeds for a individual sites, but is not an aggregator for multiple RSS feeds, which is what
River5 is. Might be that feeder is just one lego piece.
