We should have learned by now from what we have endured of COVID that by the time a virus or a variant is discovered it has already been in the community and spread.

In my opinion as a blogging platform
Old School has one significant flaw, which is automating access to or indexing archives. If you scroll all the way down on this page you will see the last entry is for October 24, 2021, but I wrote several posts before that date that are now hard to find. However, I have found that there are URIs to a page for all the posts during a given month, for example,
here are all my posts in November. Note the end of the URL, /[Year]/[Month]/. For now I am going to add links to the monthly pages in the outline in my About tab. I would love it if
Old School provided a tab for Archive and automatically produced the index but for now I will do it manually.

I want an app like Roam that recognizes a string of text as the same as the title of an already existing page and automatically converts it to a link to that page without my having to specify it as such with square brackets.

In Drummer terms, what I describe above would automate the process maintaining my own glossary. It would be like having my own Google index that did pattern matching on what I wrote and automatically generated links to connect the dots for me. As good as tools like
Roam, Logseq, and
Obsidian are, I think they still require too much manual work that could be automated.
