I posted a FB link to a cool place to walk in the woods around here, and I included a pretty nice picture of a lake, a bog, really, taken from one segment of the trail. I gave the name of the park and mentioned that it was west of town. An adult, a white collar worker with a long career in office work, asked how to find the place. I was a little peeved. I considered ignoring the request for information, partially because I knew I'd have a little trouble writing a reply without a bit of attitude. Eg., "Sure! What you do is open Google and type the name of the park in the search box and click on the Search button, then wait a moment until your question is answered in detail by each of the first few listings given in reply."#
Instead, I ran the Google search myself, took a screen capture of the top answer, and pasted it into the reply box on FB. I did this without any comment, since I knew my own shortcomings in this area and knew I'd have trouble with my tone.#
I confess that my screen capture retained the Google logo at the top, though.#
