I don't feel a strong need for Markdown in Drummer. I don't understand the recent tendency to shoehorn Markdown into every corner of text. (And then request that it's rendered as WYSIWYG. We already have WYSIWYG here.) I love Markdown, and use it all over the place. But I don't need it if I'm not reusing it or doing specific Markdown-related things with it. I can hit e.g. CMD-b
in Drummer and it's bold. I don't need to render it using **bold**
. More over-thinking, IMHO. Let it be an outliner, I say.
I missed the discussion around whitespace, apparently, because I'm expecting each node in outline to be a new paragraph. Oh well, I'll catch up later.
