There is a necessary "publish" step when using Drummer for blogging. This puts just a tiny bit of friction between the writing and the published content. It's better than a typical static site publisher, but still not as
like a typewriter as Ghost or TiddlyWiki and co.

This feels a little weird because on my wiki I append to each day's entry throughout the day (oldest first). Drummer prefers the reverse, and is probably correct. I'll adjust.

In the back of my head, since doing most of my writing in TiddlyWiki, I've been wishing I had something like what Dave was using for Scripting.com. With
today's Drummer release, I may have what I've been hoping for.

Nothing suits quick blogging better than an outliner. I love outliners. I've always thought Dave made really good ones.

The more I think about the decision to get the Leica Q2, the more I approve of it. Of course I've been here before, having bought and sold both the original Q and the Q2 Monochrome. In none of my notes around the original Q do I suggest anything but adoration for the camera. I just really wanted an M10 and needed to sell the Q to fund it. The Monochrom Q2 was fantastic also, but I ultimately couldn't handle only black and white. I prefer doing conversion of color using Silver Efex anyway. But, the 47 megapixel resolution was a revelation. I used to be one of those "cropping is cheating" snobs but I got over that. Every photograph is cropped. Some are done using the viewfinder and some are done during processing. Same result. Anyway, the 28mm lens is too wide for me, but the big sensor let me easily crop to, say, a 50mm fov without loss of image quality. That's sweet. And the built-in 35mm and 50mm framelines of the Q2 make it feel a bit like using a rangefinder. I'll probably come back to an M10 one day, but I don't want to sacrifice the Q2 to do it.
