- I am having a lot of fun with Drumkit. I care a lot about how my code looks, and it has been great being able to use bold, italics, etc, and separate indentation and collapsibility from language structure. I’m sure my Drumkit doesnt look like anyone else’s, but I like it #
- The method capitalization is due to autocorrect on the iPad, I decided to run with it and see how it feels. At first I thought this is a ridiculous amount of commenting and formatting for a few lines of code, but I found I missed it when working on some code I hadnt done that way#
- You can basically stick that outline as-is into your menu.opml outline. It’s just commented code, but it feels different to me. Every part of that is just convention, by the weekend my code will look and read totally different.Drumkit is fun, in a way I haven’t had since Basic#
- I wrote most of this post on Twitter. I used Drummer's Get my tweets... command. This created an outline, with each node a tweet. I found the one with the screenshot, and added it to this blog post. Then I used Drummer's pin icon so all I saw was the list of my tweets. I then used the Open in iA Writer as New File command that I wrote myself, which copied all the text from the tweets over to iA Writer for some quick cleanup. I then selected all that, pasted it into this blog post, and wrote this paragraph. #
- This took less time than the pot on the stove to come to boil. I am not kidding. Have I mentioned that Drummer is fucking awesome?#
- Yes, I am posting screenshots of my Drumkit code. Yes, I am a huge fucking nerd. Yes, this is how I plan to spend my holiday weekend. Yes, I am a huge fucking nerd. I said this time, I am leaning in, good day sir!#
