π Saturday morning wiff waff in the rain wearing a pair of wellies. I'm unlikely to be asked to become a sporting ambassador for a major brand anytime soon. This was our first time back at the Table of Dreams in over a week. It took three wipes and three flannels to dry out the Table of Dreams before we knocked up.

We both started a little rusty. I soon found the corners and left A stranded in the middle. No backhand equals a point to me every time. This observation of course works in reverse; she knows my wiff waff blind spot and can pick it out at ease. I still walked away with a 5-2 win.

π― Robert Elms was raving about the Tedeschi Trucks Band at The Palladium last night. He played Midnight in Harlem once again - quite a moment. He also had an interview with Matt Lodder, aka Dt Tattoo from up the road at the University. He's a great guest and speaks with tremendous knowledge on all things ink wise.

π The miserable weather meant this was a morning for staying indoors. The planned bicycle ride was cancelled. I pressed on with some school publishing instead. I failed in trying to avoid the England t20 score until the highlights later this evening.

Album of the Day: Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young - Deja Vu#
This sounds like it's only a chord change away from becoming a bloody Eagles album. Almost Cut My Hair is the most hippie meme song ever. Our House is charming enough and conjures up many warm childhood memories. There's probably a lot more depth to this album than I'm giving credit for. It's actually quite a radical approach for 1970 with the different styles. It sounds like a museum piece though.

πΆββοΈ The Estuary Wilds rain held a ceasefire and so we headed out for a
walk late afternoon. It was still incredibly gloomy out there. This was welly weather. The mood wasn't lifted by listening to the Forest commentary. Once again my watch was pinging around five seconds ahead of the commentary with updates. It made for a nervy walk in real time.

I was wearing five layers of clothing. It felt slightly warmer outside than in. It was also revealing seeing some of the mean streets of Weird Wiv devoid of parked cars. The fibre broadband team is continuing to blitz the town. This has led to old Victorian streets being restored to the streetview for which they were originally planned.
#
The pace of change elsewhere was surprisingly brisk. I've not been out on a Weird Wiv walk for a month or so. Seeing new houses rising, boats disappearing from their Quayside berthings or just new garden furniture marking out territorial boundaries. #mundane, etc.
