- Turn by turn works with a separate Bluetooth speaker#
- But it isn't as good as Garmin's implementation. Instead of saying "In 100 metres turn right", it just says "Turn right" and you have to look at the screen to know how many metres you have to go before actually turning right. #
- I assume this is a known bug which Hammerhead will fix?!?#
- The Karoo 2 missed two roundabouts on Woodland northbound.#
- The roundabout implementation didn't make sense to me. It says correctly "Take the 2nd exit" but when you get to the round about it says "turn right". Turn right is technically true but confusing.#
- Just saying something like "Take the 2nd exit to go straight" instead of turning right would be fine!#
- The Karoo 2 like the Garmin has a bug where the navigation software gets disoriented in Gastown at the beginning of a ride. They both tell you turn left at Hastings which is a dangerous turn and is not on the route.#
- The Karoo 2 like the Garmin eventually magically fixes itself after few hundred metres or so.#
- Someday I'll find the official Karoo 2 support forum and post this stuff there (if not fixed by then).#
