That sounded like a real adventure, and now I think it sounds like a great seasoning journey. One of his parents, however, said no. Not knowing the full circumstances, I'd say that still sounds like a heart-breaking denial.#
We could all use a bit of seasoning at the age of 14, and for a long time after.#
